両角 昌幸（もろずみ まさゆき）

Morozumi Masayuki

1971年、長野県松川村に生まれる

松川村で育ち、北海道大学へ進学

箏・三味線・尺八の学生サークル「北大邦楽研究会」で尺八を始める

ほどなく尺八を菅原久仁義氏に師事、その後現在に至るまで同師の元で研鑽を積む

第52期NHK邦楽技能者育成会卒業

2001年、第3回尺八新人王決定戦において3位入賞

2009年、ブラジル・ベレン市で開催された「アマゾン移民80周年記念式典」にて演奏

2016、2019年、ロシア・モスクワ音楽院にて演奏

尺八ユニット菅原組のメンバーとして東京(2007,2009,2011)、札幌・室蘭(2011)、松本・野沢温泉(2015)、浜松(2016)の各公演に参加。

2018年、国際尺八コンクールinロンドンにおいて3位入賞

【Self-introduction】
I've born in 1971 in Matsukawa village, Nagano prefecture of Japan.
I've started studying shakuhachi under Sugawara Kuniyoshi when I was 22 years old ,student at Hokkaido University.
I've studied at the NHK Academy for Traditional Japanese Music after graduating from the university.
In 2018, I won the 3rd place at the International Shakuhachi Competition in London.
Since I started playing shakuhachi, I've been continuing to play shakuhachi for around 30 years.
I play japanese classical and contemporary music by shakuhachi.

【About shakuhachi】
Shakuhachi is japanese traditional bamboo flute, - vertical, a air-reed instrument.
It has only five finger holes, but it can sound various tone color and interval.
The sound of shakuhachi is so soulful.
I hope many people come in touch with the sound.
